Academics- Examination & Promotion
  • There will be two terminals and one final examination conducted during the academic year.
  • A minimum of 40% marks is required to pass in each subject. Promotion is based on the total performance of the student during the entire session. Therefore due attention should be paid to tests, project work and examinations.
  • It is compulsory for the parents/guardians to be present on the open house day to discuss the performance of their children with the concerned teachers and thus to give guidance to their wards.
  • No re-examination or supplementary will be held. Pupils absent from an examination without grave reason will be considered as having failed in it. In case of illness, medical certificate should be attached to the leave letter. In such cases, promotion will be based on the year's performance.
  • All fees due up to the Terminal Examination must be paid at least one week before the commencement of the examination.
  • A student found using unfair means during the tests or the terminal exams will be given zero in the subject. Repetition of the same will result in dismissal. The same rule is applicable for students who repeat the same answer again and again at different places in their answer sheets or are found tampering with the marks in their answer papers or in their Report Cards.
  • Results of the examinations are final and will not be reconsidered. The answer papers of the annual examination will not be shown to anybody.
  • The choice of subject for the students going to XI will be decided by their yearlong academic performance in class X.
  • A cut-off percentage will be set for students of X and XII during the pre-board exams. Those who fail to clear all the subjects will be given re-exam till they pass in all the subjects. An additional fee will be charged for the exams thus conducted.
  • On no account will the school issue a pass TC to students who are detained.
